Atlas Split
Atlas Split
Use Atlas Split to extract individual textures from an atlas or sprite-sheet. Each cell of the grid becomes a separate output port, with the cell content scaled to full output resolution.
Availability
This node requires Pro.
Common uses
- Connect an atlas texture to the input port.
- Adjust Grid X and Grid Y to match the atlas layout.
- Connect downstream nodes to the individual cell outputs you need.
Input ports
-
input -
Single atlas image input to be split into grid cells.
Output ports
- None
Port names can depend on the graph or node configuration.
- Each grid cell becomes a separate numbered output port with the cell content scaled to full resolution.
Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | Range or values |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grid X | int | 4 | 1 to 8 |
| Grid Y | int | 4 | 1 to 8 |
Behavior
- Outputs are generated left-to-right, top-to-bottom matching standard atlas layout.
- Only connected output ports are computed; disconnected outputs are skipped.
Common mistakes
- Only connected outputs are rendered — unused outputs are skipped for performance.
- Cell content is stretched to fill the full output resolution; source cell aspect ratio is not preserved.
