Paint
Paint
Use Paint to add hand-painted detail, masks, or colour corrections directly onto your texture. Choose a black, white, BG Input, or empty background; strokes are composited over that background.

This node is available in the free feature set.
Common uses
- Use BG Input when you want to paint over a connected image; Black is the default background.
- Select the Paint node and open the Selected preview tab to see the brush overlay.

Behavior
- Paint strokes are stored as serialised point data in the node.
- The brush overlay appears automatically when the node is selected.
Common mistakes
- Stroke data is stored in the graph file and may increase file size with many strokes.
- Undo is limited to clearing all strokes via the node reset action.
