Combine HSB
Combine HSB
Use Combine HSB to rebuild color from independently processed HSV channels. Colored channel inputs are converted to luminance, and missing inputs contribute zero.
Availability
This node is available in the free feature set.
Common uses
- Connect normalized grayscale masks to H, S, and B.
- Pair with Separate HSB for channel-specific color processing.
Input ports
-
h -
s -
b -
H, S, and B inputs are normalized grayscale signals; missing inputs default to zero.
Output ports
-
out -
Outputs an opaque RGB texture.
Parameters
This node has no shared processing parameters.
Behavior
- HSB uses standard HSV conversion with brightness equal to the maximum RGB channel.
Common mistakes
- Hue wraps across the black-to-white mask range.
- Alpha is not carried through; the output is opaque RGB.
